The Best Fight Ever

Have not posted a daily YM chart in a while, now I know why. It's just a tad depressing. Big up move today and we didn't even get back to the November lows. The equity markets are now down 50% from their highs. The last time that happened was 1931.

Like I said, depressing.

It will be quite a fight to get this thing turned around. Maybe we need Marvin Hagler to run the Fed instead of Ben Bernanke.

I Want Nuclear!

Jack Dee Live at the Apollo: Cold Calling

Oh, and the markets?

Who cares.

They went up, down, and sideways.

Just keep President Elect Obama at the microphone, Ben Bernanke at the printing press, and Hank Paulson handing out the dough and we'll all be ok.

Yes I'm in a bad mood, I've got a "man cold".

One more thing, make sure you watch this "ugly" post.

Who Do You Love

I know, let's make stocks going down illegal.

I guess owning banks is now the safest investment in the United States. The government will not let them go under, the government will not let you short them, in fact I don't think you should be able to speak badly of them.

Does this remind anyone of bureaucrats gone wild, aka, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

Is there an election going on some where?

A New Role for the Fed: Investor of Last Resort

Susan Walsh/Associated Press
The Federal Reserve, led by Ben Bernanke, is being stretched.
