The Bush Legacy

President Obama's plan to fix all this? He's going to double the U.S. debt in 8 years.

The U.S. national debt clock. In a word, wow.

Watch, learn, say something.

How can any rational human being ask their government to spend more money than they take in?

How can any rational human being vote for a politician who promises to cut taxes while they increase spending?

How?

"All I want is what I have coming to me. All I want is my fair share." Sally to Charlie Brown concerning her Christmas list.

You see Sol, we Americans believe that we should get what we have coming to us. Our fair share. That includes low taxes AND a government that takes care of us. We Americans want the benefits of "being" American but we don't want to pay for privilege. We want the government out of lives except when we don't want government out of our lives. It's not easy being American cuz we just want our fair share...even if it comes at another's expense.

Mrs. DT is blushing over the thought that lonely old day traders are clicking on her picture and digging through her bio. She's happy that her blog traffic has spiked to an all-time high though! LOL

So many things to say but most of them would reveal me to be some kind of weird cyber-stalker rather than the "lonely old day trader" that I really am :-)

Smoke and mirrors. The U.S. is two steps ahead at all times. That debt will never be repaid. Yes, it's very true! The creators of derivatives, The World Bank, the IMF, and propaganda masters will always conjure up more tricks than David Copperfield ever could.

Aiding 3rd world countries such as Haiti, with hyperinflation when ever a climate disaster occurs.

Oil for dollars as well as Middle East Princes and SE Asia companies getting conned into toxic assets like Citigroup always make my head shake.
